Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

General: only sells original products supplied by the authorised agent/ supplier in South Africa and as such the warranty as per the Brand supplier T & C’s in the country. We do not sell any parallel or “ grey “ imports of any kind.

Defective Products: offers a warranty on the quality of the goods purchased, on behalf of and in line with the warranty policy undertaken by the manufacturer/supplier of the Products, provided that the Products have not been altered or used, contrary to the instructions. Warranty is usually 12 months from date of purchase or longer and is a ‘repair warranty’, unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.

If the Products are found to be defective during the warranty period, you may send an email to, or alternatively, contact the manufacturer’s service centre as indicated in the product information leaflet supplied with your Product. You shall also be required to produce the original invoice/ credit card/ debit card slip as proof of purchase  a copy of which is available from ourselves. Where the Product is found to be defective, the manufacturer/supplier, shall, at its sole discretion;
(a) repair the failed, unsafe or defective Product; or
(b) Replace the failed, unsafe or defective Product.

Non- defective Products

Products which are NOT defective or damaged or which you found to be unsuitable on inspection of the closed product package, can be rejected at the point of delivery and returned within 7 (seven) days from date of delivery. This is subject to the Products being in its original condition, not tampered with, and the packaging/manuals/cables/remote control units etc. being in its original condition and not opened or used. You may be required to produce the original invoice/ credit card/ debit card or EFT slip as proof of purchase. This is subject to a reasonable explanation being given for the refund request.  is entitled to charge a handling fee of 15% of the original purchase price on such refunds. The purchased products are to be returned to ‘s nominated address, by the nominated courier service, at the expense of the purchaser.  can hold you liable for any damage caused to the Products whilst it is in your possession.

Furthermore should the supplier not be willing to accept the product back at the original cost price due to the product not being resalable as new, then  will inform you of the amount that the supplier is willing to refund if any refund is offered, failing which the return may be rejected at the sole discretion of the supplier/ camerawarehouse. Any refund due, will be made in the same manner as your original payment, i.e. to your credit card, debit card or cheque or savings account, as the case may be.



Any communication entered into in respect of the suitability or specifications purchase of any product, wherether telephionically or by any other method are deemed to be merely a suggestion and not advice on the product purchased. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the product purchased is suitable for their needs and requirements prior tp purchasing the product. Product information can be researched on both our site and the relevant brand websites on the internet. No refunds or exchanges will be entered into by camerawarehouse on the basis of “ incorrect advice “ unless otherwise agreed by camerawarehouse at its sole discretion.

Late Delivery:

If a Product purchased from  is not delivered within the agreed delivery period, or where no specific period was agreed, within 30 days after having purchased the Product as per the Consumer Protection Act you will be refunded in full. Should the Product purchased be unavailable,  shall notify you and issue a full refund within 2 ( two ) working days after your order was placed unless otherwise agreed.
