Expand the capabilities of your GH6 Mirrorless Camera with the SmallRig “Black Mamba” Camera Cage.
Designed to securely Mount on the Camera body, it provides the strength and structure to attach all kinds of accessories via its 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 Threading, NATO Rail skeleton, and Cold Shoe female Mount.
On-the-fly swaps from a Tripod to a motorized Gimbal or Shoulder Rig happen via the Arca-Swiss Quick Release Plate, and the redundant Anti-twist Locking mechanism helps prevent unwanted rotation when shooting.
For added security, HDMI and USB Type-C Cable clamps lock the outputs in place for seamless data transfers to monitors and recording devices (available separately).
The lightweight and strong Aluminum, stainless steel, and silicone gel Cage is designed with Ergonomics in mind, enabling shoots that last all day.
Expandability
The GH6 reaches its full potential when combined with an array of monitors, larger batteries, lens hoods, etc.
This Cage enables you to attach pounds and pounds of optional gear, far more than you would otherwise be able to use with your GH6 (available separately).
These attach via the 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 Threading, the NATO Rail skeleton, and the Cold Shoe Mount.
Secure Connections
The Arca-Swiss Quick Release Plate holds your Rig firmly in place when you need it but doesn’t cause a delay when you need to swap Camera supports.
Your data cables are held securely in the GH6’s ports to make sure your external recording and monitoring is not accidentally interrupted.
A dual anti-twist locking method, including a built-in magnetic Camera key, keeps your lens pointed straight downrange.
