Nikon SB-5000 AF Speedlight

The Nikon SB-5000 AF Speedlight to feature a radio-controlled Advanced Wireless Lighting function*. Radio signals are more reliable than infrared, do not get affected by extremely bright conditions, do not require line of sight, and can work up to 30 meters.

Other top features includes a cooling system, Unified Flash Control, and a 14-200mm standard illumination pattern.*Infra-red/CLS is still supported.*Radio triggering requires both a WR-A10 Wireless Remote Adapter and a WR-R10 Wireless Remote Controller, and either a Nikon D5, or D500 body.

Radio-controlled Advanced Wireless Lighting

The Nikon SB-5000 speedlight can be triggered through radio signals, instead of the traditional infrared. Radio signals does not require line of sight and can work up to 30 meters, enabling complex lighting setups and giving you creative freedom. Other advantages includes no signal loss from strong light and a almost non-existent miss-rate

New cooling system that enables more than 100 continuous flashes

The SB-5000 is equipped with a new cooling system that cools the flash head. The cooling system has been significantly improved, keeping the flash panel from overheating and enabling more than 100 continuous flashes. As the cooling system keeps the Speedlight from overheating, professional and advanced amateur photographers can enjoy more comfortable and active flash photography.

14-200mm standard illumination pattern

A wide 14-200mm standard illumination pattern will enable you to light both wide angle and close-up shots.
